He lost his job and hasn’t been able to find work for some time, although recently hired at Lowes, his benefits won’t start for a few months and his salary is minimal. She lost her job due to health reasons and cannot work anymore. They are trying to sell their house before the bank forecloses on it, and just need some hands to help make repairs. The work included lifting the existing deck by digging out the posts and filling in underneath, painting the deck, touch up painting around windows and doors, and painting second floor dormers that the home owner could not reach
We also came to find out that the house did not have a stove, which the City of Asheville requires you have in order to sell a house within city limits. After a few replies to craigslist ads, a generous soul gave us a stove for free that he was originally trying to sell.
